Racing On Sydney Harbour

Do you feel like Christmas was only yesterday? You’re not alone! We become easily engrossed with day to day activities that we let time pass by unintentionally, causing us to feel like time speeds up.

I am a big believer that we need to have new experiences in order to slow time back down again. So each month, I look at my list of the new experiences, which can be anything from learning a new skill to going on a picnic somewhere, to travelling to Alaska for the northern lights. It not only helps in creating new long term memories; it also allows me to stay connected with my family, nature, and the people around me.

I suppose that I can say that this is one of the perks of making work optional.

This photo was culled from over a year ago and perfect for this time of the year. We were racing on Sydney Harbour on a yacht. We didn’t win. Apparently, I didn’t pull my weight!
