2023 New Experiences, Holiday Season Tips, Top Places to Visit, and more: What You Need to Know
Goodbye 2022, and a year to look forward to as we welcome 2023! It’s that time of the year again when we look at what the future has in store for us. We want to say THANK YOU! for your support throughout the year. We are hoping you finish this year with a bang and take a well-earned break this holiday season because you deserved it!
2022 is ending, but have you made all the financial decisions and ensured your year goes off smoothly? Have you settled and created plans for the year 2023? Have you finished doing your Christmas shopping this holiday season?
Well, we have all the tips and some articles you may want to look at to make 2023 your best year. From tips on how to shop for Christmas, top places to spend and visit this holiday.
Do you feel like Christmas was only yesterday? Your not alone! We become easily engrossed with day to day activities that we let time pass by unintentionally, causing us to feel like time speeds up.
I am a big believer that new experiences are the key to slow time back down again. So each month, I look at my list of the new experiences, which can be anything from learning a new skill like dancing or maybe abseiling, to going on a picnic somewhere, to travelling to Alaska for the northern lights. It not only helps in creating new long term memories; it also allows me to stay connected with my family, nature, and the people around me.
I suppose that I can say that this is one of the perks of making work optional. So I have put together a poster that you can use to help you ensure that you are not letting life just pass you by. I remind myself regularly that if I cannot spare a weekend, a day or even an hour for doing something new just once a month I am doing something wrong. Remember you are working to live not living to work. See the link below to download poster.
I encourage you all to request a physical copy that you can put on fridge and complete. It has ideas on the back if your stuck for suggestions, or need to substitute an activity because something happened, and you need to get an activity done before the end of that month, so no excuses.
This is a great way to list the activities you have done for the year, and helps you with your memory of them as well.
We have listed the latest news as well about the forecast of housing prices in Australia, sharing as well the best countries to retire in and what’s in it for you and explaining the peak of financial abilities.
Do not forget to manifest your goals this coming 2023 and live the life you want to live!
The team at Make Work Optional wishes you and your family a Merry Christmas and a promising and bountiful new year. Once again, a big thank you for your support throughout 2022. We look forward to working closely with you in 2023.
